A reminder to all that our athletic track is closed for the foreseeable future as per the guidelines from our parent body Athletics Ireland. This is being adhered to by club members but unfortunately not everyone is so considerate. During the week the club had to remove two people from the facility who appear to be from well outside the 5km distance. They had removed the barriers and were conducting their own training session on the track despite all the notices on the entrance gate. We urge anyone in the locality who sees such action happening again to contact any of the club committee.
