The club had a strong contingent of runners at the Tipperary Mini Marathon in Clonmel on Sunday with nine members taking on the 10k event. First home of the club runners was Sharon Kiely in 29th in a time of 48.45 followed by Sharon Cantwell 31st in 49.08 just yards ahead of Sinead Tynan in 32nd and timed at 49.20. Ber Spillane came through for 60th in 52.16 with Edel Hickey 86th in 54.53. Helena Loughnane finished 91st in 55.15 some 3 secs ahead of Sinead McLoughlin in 55.18 for 93rd place. Catherine Dunne was our next finisher in 145th timed at 58.33 with Pauline O’Connell 206th in 61.19. To have all our ladies in the top third of the field is excellent. Well done to everyone involved.
