22 of our Juvenile athletes competed in the County “B” Track & Field Championships which took place in Templemore on Saturday last bringing home a total of 18 individual medals which included 4 Gold, 12 silver and 2 bronze. County “B” titles were won by Philip Hayes in the U9 60m and Long Jump, Armand Schoeman in the U10 Long Jump and Roisin Daly in the U13 600m – well done to all three of you.
Other medal winners on the day were: Helen Cleere 2nd U9 200m, Erica Carroll 2nd U13 600m, Sarah Jane McCormack 2nd U14 80m & 2nd U14 800m, Roisin Daly 2nd U13 Long Jump, Muireann Lloyd 2nd U13 Shot, Edwina Cleere 2nd U14 shot, Armand Schoeman 3rd U10 Ballthrow, Adam Butler 2nd U9 Ballthrow, Ciaran Lloyd 2nd Long Jump & 3rd 60m, Niall Moore 2nd U13 Long Jump, Jack Moore 2nd U14 Long Jump & 2nd U14 800m.
Other athletes to perform on the day and win medals in the mixed relays were – Laura Daly, Nathan Bowe, Ben Ryan, Kate Leahy, Dylan McLoughlin, Sean Everard, Aaron McLoughlin, Blake Power, Jake Bowe and Aaron McNamara – well done to all athletes.
