Senior Master Track and Field

7 of our Senior Athletes made the trip to Templemore on Wednesday evening last for the County T & F Championships. Damien McDonald finished 3^rd in the O/35 100m, 2^nd in the 800m and 1^st in the Javelin. JJ Fitzgerald was 3^rd in the O/45 100m and 1^st in 800m. Liam Kelly was 4^th in the Senior Men’s 400m and 3^rd in the 5000m recording a time of 18.23. Lisa Quinlan was 4^th in the Senior Ladies 400m, 2^nd in 800m, 3^rd 1500m and 6^th in Shot. Edel Leahy was 4^th in Senior Ladies 800m, 4^th in 1500m, 5^th in High Jump and 1^st in Shot. Caroline Dunne competing as a Senior Athlete for the first time finished 5^th in Senior Ladies 1500m and 6^th in High Jump – well done to all.
