New Fundraiser for Club

The club are delighted to announce the commencement of a new fundraising initiative “Split the Bucket”.  Participants place €2 in an envelope and at the end of each week all the envelopes are placed in a container from which the winning envelope is picked.  The draw takes place each Friday night following juvenile training with the winner receiving half of the proceeds and the club retaining the other half.  Envelopes are currently available from the clubhouse for each weekly draw and we hope to also place some envelopes in our local businesses to help us to promote this fundraiser.  All monies raised by the club, goes back into supporting the athletes whether it be paying for competition entries, buying club singlets for their use, maintaining our club facilities, buying equipment etc.  The people of the parish and indeed well beyond the parish have always been very supportive of the club and hopefully with this new venture, this support will still be forthcoming.
