Sean Burke travelled to the Regional Sports Centre in Waterford to take part in the Munster Pentathlon Championships at the weekend and though suffering from a wrist injury performed very well in the high jump, long jump and discus before the injury put paid to his participation in the shot.  A new Pb in the High Jump of 1.60 was the highlight of his day following clearances at 1.45, 1.50 and 1.55.  He failed all three heights at 1.65 but it is an upward curve in the high jump for Sean and who knows what the rest of the track and field season will hold for him.  Well done Sean.
