Munster Juvenile Uneven Age & Intermediate Cross Country Championships took place on Sunday last the 9th November in Newmarket-On-Fergus, Co. Clare. 32 of our athletes competed with 2 of our athletes winning individual Munster Medals and 6 athletes winning Tipperary Team Medals. Individual medal winners were Philip Hayes in the Boys U11 putting in a great performance to finish in 7th place and Orla Healy also putting in a superb performance in the Girls U19 finishing in 10th place – Philip & Orla will go on to represent Munster in the National Finals in Santry, Dublin on the 7th December – well done to you both and best of luck to you in the Final. Our team medal winners in the Boys U9 750m were David Doyle who finished in 4th place for the Tipperary Team winning bronze medal. In the Boys U11 1500m Philip Hayes finished in 1st place for the Tipperary team winning bronze medal. Girls U13 2500m Rachel Butler finished 4th for the Tipperary team winning bronze medal. Boys U14 2500m Dylan McLoughlin finished 6th for the Tipperary team winning bronze medal. Girls U19 4000m Orla Healy finished 4th for the Tipperary team winning silver medal.
