Castlelyons, Cork was the venue on Sunday last for the Munster Juvenile Uneven Age Cross Country Championships.  Jack Hickey put in a great performance to finish 9th in the Boys U13 race winning an Individual Munster medal, well done Jack.   Jack will represent Munster in the National Finals in WIT Sports Campus, Waterford on December 15th.  Our team medal winners were in the Boys U9 Aaron McLaughlin & Jake Bowe who finished in 5th & 6th places for Tipperary team winning themselves a Tipperary Silver medal.  In the Girls U11 Emma Gleeson finished in 6th place for Tipperary team winning Bronze medal.   Orla Healy in the Girls U17 finished in 4th place for Tipperary team winning Bronze medal.  Both Emma & Orla will represent Tipperary in the National Finals.   See photos

Our first athletes to compete were the Girls U9 with Louise Hickey finishing 17th, Helen Cleere 24th, Tara Gleeson 41st and Anna Daly 68th.  In the Boys U9 Aaron McLaughlin put in a great performance just missing out on an Individual medal finished in 13th place, and Jake Bowe finished 15th.  Girls U11 Emma Gleeson finished in 68th & Aisling Hickey finished 126th.  Girls U13 Niamh Ryan finished 24th & Lorna Hayes 88th.  In the Boys U13 Jack Hickey finished 9th, Brian Maher 28th, Charlie Tobin 41st, Dylan McLaughlin 53rd & Sean Burke  75th.   In the Girls U15 Roisin Daly finished 18th & Erica Carroll 54th.  Boys U15 Nathan Bowe finished 65th.  Girls U17 Orla Healy finished 21st.  Girls U19 Cora Doyle finished 7th.   Well done to all our athletes on such fine performances.
