Waterford IT was the venue on Sunday last for this event which took place under glorious sunny skies but over a very challenging course. 32 of our Juvenile athletes competed winning a total of 4 medals – 1 individual and 3 team medals. Our individual medal winner was Rachel Butler who put in a superb performance in the Girls U11 1500m to finish 4th overall and qualify on the team to represent Munster in the National Cross Country Finals in Adamstown, Co Wexford on Dec 9th – well done Rachel on qualifying for both National Finals and best of luck to you in those events. Our team medal winners were Aoife Dwyer who finished 19th in the Girls U9 750m leading Tipperary to bronze medals and Rachel Cleary who finished 33rd in the same race was the 5th member of the Tipperary bronze medal winners. In the Girls U13 2500m race Roisin Daly put in a stunning performance over a very challenging course to finish 19th and 3rd on the Tipperary team who won bronze medals and also qualified for the National Finals in Adamstown.
