On behalf of the committee I would like to say a huge thank you to all those who helped make this event a success – to Moyne AC for the use of their fine facility and of course all their assistance on the day and the weeks leading up to the event; to the Ram Rods for marshalling the route & leading the race; to PJ Ryan (Moyneard) for organising the parking; to the Travers Family for giving us the use of their field for parking; to Claire Hassett (Physio Elite) for sponsoring the race numbers and also for being present on the day with her team to provide post race physio; to our first aiders who thankfully weren’t called upon; to all who helped out at registration, the finish line and compiling the results; to the kitchen staff and those who provided the post race food and to anybody else who helped out in anyway prior to the event or on the day – your help was much appreciated and did not go unnoticed. All proceeds from the event will be presented in the near future to the two worthy causes, Ormond Special Olympics and Pieta House Roscrea.
