All roads led to The Commons on Thursday night for the annual inter-club cross country challege with athletes from our own club along with those from Moycarkey-Coolcroo, Coolquill and Moyglass availing of the hospitality afforded them by the host club Coolquill. Over 60 athletes from U/5 to O/15 from the club took part with each person giving everything on the night. There was great competition on offer with some excellent performances from athletes across all of the clubs. Such was the committment of our own athletes to the event that the club retained the perpetual trophy for another year. A big thank you to all who took part and to the parents who travelled on the night. Your support is very much appreciated by the club. Thanks also to the other clubs for the great competition and to Coolquill AC in providing the venue and the refreshments for everyone afterwards.
