45 of our Juvenile Athletes and 7 of our senior’s travelled to Clonmel on Sunday last for the County Tipperary Juvenile Even Age & Novice Cross Country Championships bringing home a total of 3 individual medals and 5 sets of team medals overall. 
Our individual medal winners were – Girls U10 Cathy Hogan 10th , Girls U12 Niamh Ryan 2nd and Boys U12 Jack Hickey 3rd – well done to you all. 
First off were the Girls U10 –  Cathy Hogan was 1st home for the Club in 10th, Rachel Cleary 15th, Emma Gleeson 17th, Aisling Hickey 20th, Aoife Dwyer 28th and Lucy Kavanagh 30th
In the Boys U10 Philip Hayes was 16th, Brian Gleeson 37th, Blake Power 40th, Adam Butler 42nd, Aaron McNamara 47th , Conor Flynn 48th  & William Maher 49th
In the Girls U12 Niamh Ryan finished 2nd, Rachel Butler 6th, Ellen Moore 8th, Ciara Maher 10th, Emily Kavanagh 16th, Laura Daly 23rd, Aisling Dwyer 29th & Grace Moore 34th – this team took silver medals finishing only 1 point short of Gold.
In the Boys U12 Jack Hickey was 3rd, Ciaran Lloyd 13th, Patrick Campion 15th, Brain Maher 16th, Sean Burke 19th, Charlie Tobin 21st, Dylan McLoughlin 22nd & James McDonnell 42nd – this team also took silver medals.
In the Girls U14 Roisin Daly finished 4th, Erica Carroll 7th and unfortunately Emma Doyle was unable to complete the race due to illness.
In the Boys U14 Jack Moore was 10th, Bill Hogan 15th, Niall Moore 17th and Nathan Bowe 21st  – this team took bronze medals.
Next up were the Girls U16 –  Orla Healy finished 4th, Katie Tobin 7th & Emily Walsh 8th  securing silver team medals.
In the Boys U16 Aidan Ryan was 10th, Harry Hogan 11th, Mark Ryan 12th, Eoin Troy 13th & Eamonn Troy 14th – this team took bronze medals.
In the Girls U18 Cora Doyle was 5th & Mairead Blake 6th.
Well done to all our Juvenile athletes especially those who were competing in the Cross Country stage for the first time.
Next to face the start line was the Novice Ladies who had 3000km course to run – Breda McNamara led home the Moyne Ladies finishing 14th in 14.16 closely followed by Aisling Maher in 15th recording a time of 14.25 and Liz Power was 23rd in 15.40.
Our Novice Men were up next running a 6000km course and they were led home by Richie Daly in 29th place with a time of 24.21, Damian McDonnell was 42nd in 27.04, Ray Power 43rd in 27.20 and Thomas Moore 45th in 27.31.
