The start of the road season gets underway on Sunday next 4th February with the staging of the County Road Relays in Clonoulty commencing at 12 noon. Last year the club managed to have 4 mens and 4 ladies teams in action and hopefully we can repeat that number again this year. This is the one road competition where our junior and senior athletes can compete together and it forms a great bond between them. The format of the relay is 800 x 1,500 x 800 x 3,000 with the junior athletes confined to the 800mts and 1,500mts legs. The best of luck to all competing and if the athletes could give their names to John Flynn as soon as possible it would help in making up the various teams. Athletes are also reminded that they must be registered for 2018 to compete.
