The first road championship of the season takes place in Clonoulty on Sunday at 12 noon when the County Road Relays are down for decision. The format is 800 x 1,500 x 800 x 3,000 and so is a great competition for athletes, some whom prefer the shorter distances while more favour the longer ones. We can also bring in our younger youth athletes so it is a great introduction for them into the senior side of racing. The club will have teams in both the men and ladies events with the team managers having the unenviable task of suiting the athletes to the distances. All are wished the very best of luck.
