While the above were individual medal winners we had many more athletes that made it through to finals in their events which is an achievement in itself.  Many of our younger athletes were competing for the very first time at this level of competition and it was great to see how they took it all in their stride and produced some great performances.

The results of the relays were not to hand with the exception of the Girls U/9 team of Ruth Phelan, Aoibhin O’Dwyer, Eleanor Doyle, Reiltin Morrissey and Mairead Duggan who all ran brilliantly in their event to win the bronze medals.

Also competing on Saturday and Sunday were Jake Bowe, Aaron McLoughlin, Liam Ryan, Tara Gleeson, Leona Maher, Shannon Boland, Emma Delaney, Kate Delaney, Sarah McGinley, Dearbhla Gleeson, Orla Duggan, Ellen Nolan, Alana Maher, Blathnaid Lloyd, Cora Delaney, Saoirse Doran, Una Duggan, Amy Reddan, Marian Campion, Ciara Gleeson, Jack Reddan, Frank Doyle, Adam Spillane-Leane, Jack Gleeson, John Delaney, Fred Power, Cathal Guilfoyle and David Doyle.

Congratulations and well done to all 54 athletes for their performances over the weekend and a special mention to all the parents for bringing the children to Nenagh and supporting them throughout the two days of competition.
