This Sunday, 24th April, the County Track and Field Championships take place in Templemore with a 1.30pm start. Our Junior, Senior and Master athletes have a variety of competitions to compete on both the track and in the field events. Closing date for these championships is this Wednesday night 20th April so we hope that all athletes who are competing have already given their name to Geraldine Hickey. Entries are €5 per individual event with no late entries, no entry on the day or no changing of events on the day. Junior athletes are those over 16 and under 20 on 31/12/2016 and they can only compete in one age category on the day i.e. they can compete either as a junior or senior but not in both. Athletes must also have 5mm spikes only when competing on the track. With quite a number of athletes eligible we should have a nice group competing and all are wished the best of luck.
