Our annual Track & Field Challenge between Moycarkey Coolcroo AC, Slieveardagh AC and Moyne AC took place on Saturday last on what was a blustery day but amazingly the rain held off for the whole event. We had 58 athletes in total representing our Club in the various events and each and every one of them must be complimented on their great performances.
Moyne AC took the honours with Slieveardagh AC finishing 2nd and Moycarkey Coolcroo AC finishing 3rd. The John Flynn perpetual trophy was presented by Chairman Paddy Doyle to team captain Roisin Daly who then presented the winning medals to each team member.
We wish to express sincere thanks to Slieveardagh AC and Moycarkey Coolcroo AC for their participation in the event and we hope to see both Clubs back again next year. Thanks also to all those who provided the sandwiches and confectionary for the post event refreshments and to all those who helped out in anyway.
