Cross Country Challenge
The annual cross-country challenge takes place this Tuesday night in Moyglass. Clubs taking part are Moyglass, Moycarkey-Coolcroo and Moyne and all athletes are asked to be there by 6.30pm. This is a club event and hopefully all those attending training will participate.
Cross Country Training
Training continues for all juvenile athletes each Tuesday and Friday night at 7.30pm and it is great to see the numbers taking part with many new juveniles amongst the groups. The first cross country championship takes place in Newport on October 6 and entries are currently being taken up by our competition secretary, Geraldine. Athletes interested in competing, please ensure you have given your name in by Tuesday October 1. All athletes must be registered prior to competition and we urge those who have yet to register to ensure that you give your form and monies to registrar Sharon Cantwell at the earliest opportunity. We also urge all parents to ensure that they sign in and out their children at training. Sheets are in the clubhouse. Registration forms for new members are also available in the clubhouse. Lotto tickets (€2) are available at each training session and we encourage members to purchase same.
