These Championships took place in Nenagh Indoor Stadium on Saturday February 15th. There were 20 athletes representing the club on the day where the competition in Munster was very strong. Despite this, Maria Doyle managed to win a bronze medal in the U11 Shot Put and Aaron McLaughlin won silver in the U16 1.5k Walk. Also, Niamh Gleeson qualified for the U11 60m Girls semi-final but unfortunately didn’t make the final.  The following athletes put in great performances and although they didn’t make the podium, they did themselves proud – Abbie Manton, Faye Murphy, Cathleen Cussen, Saoirse Dunne, Conor Leahy, Gerard Delaney, Ellen Harrington, Isabelle Murphy, Kate Concagh, Molly Jones, Ailis Concagh, Ciara Joyce, Heidi Maher, Olive Spillane Leane, Daithí Cussen, Jack Guilfoyle and Noah Murphy. For many of these athletes, it was their first time to compete in the Munster indoors and it probably will be the start of many for some!
