Juvenile All-Ireland Track and Field Championships, Day 3
Day 3 of the Juvenile All-Ireland Track and Field Championships saw Dylan McLaughlin represent the club in the U17 1500m. This was one of the most competitive races of the day with 23 competitors competing for a spot in the national final. Dylan was drawn in the second heat and it was going to be a tough job to qualify with such stiff competition. Dylan ran a great race to produce a personal best performance of 4:27.95. Dylan was less than a second off the ‘fastest loser’s’ spot in the final. Well Done Dylan on the superb performance on the national stage.
Munster ‘B’ Championships, Cork IT.
Well done to Saoirse Doran who competed in the girl’s Under 12 600m. She ran very well to finish 5th overall in a time of 1:57. Well done Saoirse!
