Munster Road Championships

Angela Fogarty, Sharon Cantwell and Lorraine Healy did not have too far to travel for the Munster 4 Mile Road Championship, which was successfully hosted by Dundrum AC. The conditions were tough for our three athletes, having to contend with rain, sleet and snow, yet these conditions did not deter our determined ladies who did themselves proud by their performances. Lorraine just outsprinted Angela in the final 100m as both athletes finished in the top half of the field. Sharon Cantwell had a controlled and solid performance over the distance to complete the club participation. Well done to all three athletes.
