GloHealth Juvenile “B” Cross Country Championships were held on Sunday the 8th February in Palace Grounds, Tuam, Co. Galway. A total of 25 athletes braved the cold and very frosty morning to bring home a total of 3 individual medals, 3 club medals and a County team medal. Our individual medal winners were Rachel Butler 6th in the Girls U13, Dylan McLaughlin 8th in the Boys U13 and Jack Moore 7th in the Boys U17 – congratulations & well done on great performances. The Boys U11 won the County Silver team medals and the team was made up of Philip Hayes, Jake Bowe, Aaron McLaughlin & Adam Butler – well done boys. The 3 club medals were won by the Boys U11 who finished 3rd, Girls U13 & Boys U17 who both finished 2nd – well done to you all. Girls U13 Rachel Butler 6th, Kate Bergin 25th, Emma Gleeson 46th & Aisling Dwyer 47th, this team won Silver club medals, Aine Duggan 95th. Boys U13 Dylan McLaughlin 8th. Girls U15 Erica Carroll 21st and Aoibheann Duggan 39th. Boys U15 Nathan Bowe 30th. Boys U17 Jack Moore 7th, Eamonn Troy 13th, Eoin Troy 18th & Colm Smith 19th and this team won Silver club medals.
