DSD Games 2023– Ber Spillane and Katie Bergin’s performances at the inaugural DSD AC track and field meet last Sunday were superb! This meet attracted an extremely high calibre of athlete who were itching for the opportunity to clock fast times on the newly built facility. With the weather playing ball, Ber and Katie both availed of PB’s on the day!! Ber was in heat 2 and finished 6th overall in the 200m but most importantly clocked a new outdoor PB of 29.56! Congrats to her on clocking her first of many sub 30 clocking’s outdoors! Katie has been progressing excellently through the summer campaign and got off to a flying start in the 100m winning in an impressive 12.00 flat! The fastest time of the day and a new PB for her. The good times kept on rolling for her as she followed up convincingly in the 200m winning again, clocking yet another PB 24.3! An excellent day’s work for the girls! Congrats!
